Gardens
Following a shaded brick path east of Novena's entrance you will come upon the wide collection of gardens. Seasonal decorations are tended with utmost care, and a vegetable patch or two is always open for snacking.

Stable Pitch
Located at the back of the great academy is a collection of stables, accompanied by the riding pitch. Horses are kept year-round for riding, grooming, and breeding lessons.

Gaming Pitch
Composed of Tennis Courts, Basketball, Badminton, and even Volleyball lots. North of this expanse of cement and sand lies the Football Field, which doubles for Soccer and Rugby. Circling the field is a running track, decorated by the five house colors.

Roof
Between the Academy's stone towers stretches a modern rooftop, flat and dotted by the occasional access shed. A popular hang-out for students avoiding classes on good-weather days.

Recreation Hall
Furnished with antique coffee tables and big leather couches, this open space focuses on the main fireplace of Castle Novena--a giant stone structure that cooked whole cows in its day. On the far wall hangs the tapestry of the five houses; the mysterious sixth shield gnawed from the old cloth by rats.

Dining Hall and Cafeteria
A grand, vaulted-ceiling ballroom--adorned with large oak tables and benches. Connected in a build-on are the kitchens and cafeteria: modern appliances replacing the hearth and stone oven techniques.

Empty Supply Room
Somewhere within the depths of Novena's great halls lay many unused rooms. Most famous of these is a supply room with a broken lock--perfect for exploration or independant down-time.

Lavatory
Old porcelain toilets and stone-pillar sinks. One would almost expect the lighting to be from sconces, but the high victorian vanities are electric and the plumbing is up to date.

Coffee Room
A place for professors to cool thier feet and the staff of Novena to take some time for relaxation. Counters of snackfood and comfortable but spartan armchairs are the newest addition.

Laundry Room
Just down the service elevator is a massive room dedicated to the washing and drying of linens and clothing. The floors are always kept clean and the air is always slightly warmer, smelling of fabric softener.

Utilities Hall
Beyond the laundry room is a darker, dustier part of the castle that holds all the stock for cleaning supplies. It is a long hallway, dimly lit and lined with various closets full of old soap and stale sponges.

Empty Dungeons
Beyond the Utilities Hall lay the mysterious depths of Castle Novena. Students are discouraged to explore this part of the castle, as it is vast--dark and rather filthy.
