Background: Born to the uncommon family consisting of a Chinese mother and Britannian father, whom defected to the Okinawan rebels for the sake of his wife, the trials of life seem to be more difficult than most for Li. In his early childhood and even up until now, the only public perception he receives from other Ryukyuan children is how Okinawa's rebels will crush Britannia and the Chinese with ease one day due to a balanced combination of genetics from his parents affecting his physical appearance heavily.

Throughout his lifetime, he's had very few friends but the ones he has acquired have remained close to him. Due to how society has shaped him, Li remains a silent man who has very few words to say to those he is unfamiliar with. With the assistance of his friends, he can be quite outgoing when he feels comfortable enough. His life was not without hardships though.

Due to the fairly corrupt governmental system of residential Britannian colonies toward their treatment of the Ryukyuans but luckily for Li, he had the advantage of falsely accepting his allegiance to either Britannia and Okinawa due to fact that the nobility can almost buy their way out of anything that concerns Ryukyuans. At the age of 13, Li was dating a fairly close friend of someone who belonged to nobility. As a result of extreme envy, she was brutally murdered in front of his eyes as she was fiercefully stabbed in the back with a kitchen knife. Authority enjoyed the riches of ignorance and so, her case was never investigated thoroughly and was considered merely as suicide.

As with the majority of teens entering the stage of puberty, Li strongly questioned why he was still living. He had a very close relationship with his first and only girlfriend, so it was expected that it would impact him. Suicidal thoughts quickly consumed him but ultimately, he was able bear his own burden and accept that his life should not be stalled or halted due to this tragedy. Life went on and a secret desire of vengeance was established.

Within the next few years, Li trained himself to join the Britannian army; his desire was clear: to obtain enough power to avenge his fallen love despite betraying his father's honor. A true, wise friend of his, Kirin Izanagi, who was a certified honorary Britannian, advised him that his reason was flawed. This friendship was certainly rare amongst society, as honorary Britannians were clearly looked down upon, but then again, that was just another common aspect they shared in a sense. Li was not an unreasonable person; he did not ignore his advice the least bit. Still, it would remain as one of his main goals, no matter how flawed it was.

Observing the skills of the exceptionally motivated person, a stranger approaches Li one day and explains how his skills could be a valuable aspect of the organization she works for. The observer reveals herself only as Yin. Her origins are unknown to Li, but her offer seemed tempting. She worked for a secret organization known as O.Q.I.A.S. (Overly Qualified Individiduals in the Act of Sabotages). Their main goal was clear: to secretly involve themselves in major battles to destroy any key bases their opposition has in a swift manner. You could consider them the best well-kept secret of any army due to their extreme classified status. Although, they had another purpose that was not revealed to Li, yet they were neither for the Britannians nor the Okinawans; their true faction had yet to be revealed to him, who believed that this organization was under Britannia.

P.S. No, your background doesn't have to be even nearly as close as elaborate as mine; I just felt the need to go all out a bit since I haven't RPed in awhile. Ok, so I stole a little from Darker than BLACK, so what? It's not like I'm bring that whole show here; just trying out a new concept. Also, I'll update it with new details once I can think of anymore. Oh yea, how do we determine what skills we're good at to get those +5 bonuses? Also, any feedback and/or recommendations to further improve my character is appreciated.

Nationality: Unknown but looks British
Class: Warrior
Body type: 140lbs, 5'9"
Background: Enlisted in the British Army at age 13 while living on the estate of the Cambell family. He has no prior memory aside from being a bodyguard who gained the favor of the Master's daughter, Mary Cambell. He joined the army to impress Mary and her parents and after returning from the Singapore Insurrection as a Silver Star veteran, he gained the respect of Master Cambell. Four years later, he was arranged to wed Mary and work off base when the current problem in Asia arose. Also known for his prowess in wrestling and distance running, he prepares to enter the war, fighting for his family's honor and dignity.

Background: Despite his husky appearance, this member of the Brittanian Army can handle himself as well as any of the more "in-shape" members of the Army in a fight. Often seen being quite silent and somewhat creepy, but has occasionally shown compassion to those he wishes to protect.
